I am getting this message every time I open Rennlist but my membership doesn't expire until February.

Well link them up to the expiry date of the membership.

I almost renewed when I didn't have to.

Alex, I wish I could do that!! This came about because of a glitch. Auto renewal notices that should have been sent never went out. Rather than simply demote all the folks who did not renew, it was decided to notify them. That was ANOTHER screw-up as notices went to everyone including those who had renewed and even lifers.

All that has been fixed apparently but I thought it prudent to issue a notice to warn folks that as of Monday, anyone who did not renew will be back to "User" status.

And that's the end of the story (sound like Paul Harvey)

i also received a message that mine would expire on 11-26-12. Mine doesn't expire until next March.

Howdy - I guess you did not read the thread. The "bogus" message was a notice which EVERYONE sees - a reminder for those who had not renewed that the deadline is tomorrow. It's a lot like those signs that say "slower traffic keep right" .. it doesn't apply to you
