Hi John when I go to that page it says I'm not a member. I think I am. I have uploaded many photos previously without an issue. Could you please look into why this is happening? I want to post some photos tonight my time if possible.
Cheers and thanks

Whoops, when I went to your link it just worked, but the difference was it didn't ask me to logon. It appears I have shortcut this procedure, if there is something needed to be done please let me know.
Thanks Greg

I'm having trouble uploading images for my member website. When I display them on my local version of the website they're there, but when I upload the pages to the server, they're not.
I have checked and they're set as 'URL relative to page' instead of referencing them from my hard drive.
Any ideas?
[EDIT]- I just figured out what I was doing wrong. I was uploading the html pages, but not the images. I don't know anything about web design, but apparently the picture is like a link to another file, so when you upload it you have to upload the html page as well as any image files that are supposed to be diplayed on it. DUH! I guess I should have known this, but, you live and learn. That's what I get for using freeware for my web design software.
Thanks John D. for the idea, it got me thinking the right direction.

Place the image url inbetween the [img] [/img] tags.
Like this (without spaces) [img] http://forums.rennlist.com/upload/se...list_copy3.jpg [/img]
The end tag "[/img]" must always have a "/" (forward slash) to indicate to the message board that you are closing the statement (this applies to all tags).

hi Sargepug!
Unfortunately, iOS devices don't allow safari based uploads from either the picture gallery or camera roll, which is a limitation of iOS (which doesn't allow a user/application to browse the file system), rather then a problem with the Forum software. The best way (well, actually - the only way) is to use the Photobucket App (which, I believe is free), MobileMe (soon to be iCloud), etc.
Those programs allow you to upload a photo, and then copy and paste the link (as an image link) into most forum codebases in either a reply or a new thread.
Best to you,
John D.
