Hi John : I paid for a one year membership on 1/30/12 and have not been able to use your site and features properly...have spent a couple hours on this....kind of frustrated.
Do not have a member number....site keeps asking for it.
Have not been able to upload a profile picture or other pics.......upload failed
Site keeps telling me I am not a member ; have a user name though : LAPCHOLE

Any help will be appreciated

Juan, chances are you are trying to upload pictures which are too large. As far as I know, Rennlist no longer asks for a Membership number to post ads in the Marketplace. What are you trying to do which requires a Membership number?

In any case, please send a PM to "IB Membership" who will supply you with the number. It is in a database which requires direct access and I'm not at HQ.

Is it a problem uploading from Lion iOS? Have not had a problem until yesterday, can't upload any photo from desktop or dropbox. Says - "Photo upload failed" that's it.

Are your photos within the max parameters for size?

I'm running Lion on FireFox and have no problem.

I had to upload a jpeg photo for another member.

This new iPad version I have will also not allow uploads from a stored .jpg on its photo gallery. My PHOTOBUCKET acct works fine but is time consuming to use this method.

^ what he said .... Can we get RL to parse Dropbox links as pics rather than just links? Even between the [img]https://rennlist.com/forums/rennlist-member-help-help-for-members-issues-only/ tags it only reads it as link ... I guess I'll move to flickr or something if not - any news mods et al? Thanks,

If you are taking dropbox links from your public folder, they embed just fine, check it:

The iPad issue is related to iOS, and mobile Safari. It's resolved in iOS 6, coming soon.

Wierd!? 1 is in another folder in public, 2 is in photo folder, 3 in root of public
Must have a wrong setting in Db - any clues?

You're using the shortcode URL, you need to use the full URL.

Ok cool - thanks. Used full link but I can't get that from iPad DBox app, had to get it from the web login .... Or am I missing something? Sorry to ask but I read all the help pages and it makes no mention of long or small links.
