I had a problem for a short while on Friday, but it has been very fast for me since then, including all day and evening today.

VR, it is the single slowest site I have ever visited. It's impossibly slow in the evenings.

Same here. Evenings are worst than dial-up (not that I remember that).
Somebody needs new hamsters (for the servers, not for VR's enjoyment).

I am glad it's not just me seeing the glacial slowness (not the hamsters).

Interesting. Still at normal fast speed for me today, with no special set-up...cable modem, XP, etc. Maybe it is a Texas problem?

I'm in NC - no slowness that I've seen since I returned on Saturday night. I saw your post and was kind of intrigued by it, since it has been pretty fast for me.

What kind of ping times are you seeing if you try to ping the address?

Checking in from SC - I'm on cable - and it's been fine...

Several times each day it is slow at multiple locations in Cincinnati...

It has been that way for years.

Sometimes avg sometimes slow - it appears to be some type of load based issue...

Its running fast for me at this moment, but last week, it seemed horribly slow most of the week. It was very frustrating. But I just figured that VR was sucking down all the bandwidth posting his artistic photos...

It looks like ping is disabled which is wise for security - at least it times out for me...

I'm glad I'm not the only one. It's been slow to the point of unusable (sometime 5+ minutes to load a page) in the evenings and sporatically throughout the day. All other sites seem to be fine so its not my connection.

The only way this site could be any slower is if it was named VeloceRaptorList.com.
