It would make the site easier to use and it would preserve continuity by encouraging members to use existing threads on a topic to answer their questions. It would help consolidate information rather than scattering it over multiple threads.
Google search is included on the site. When searching, click on the Web & Images tab to see a google search of Rennlist without having to leave.

Should show something like this:

I don't know if there's any help coming here Nolan.

"Web & Images"? Sure. That's the first thing that comes to mind when I'm trying to search your site.

I agree that "Web & Images" is rather vague and I will see if they can update it to "Google Search"

Something along those lines might work.

Apple has a world famous human interface lab that does nothing but this. Think like Apple "Think Different"!

On a similar note; I suggest just calling it "Search" rather than "Google Search". The user really doesn't care what the underlying tech is, just call it "Search"?

+10. Thank you Scott

This is a long-standing vBulletin bug (vBulletin the software being owned by the same company as Rennlist).

When posts are deleted without trace (e.g. by a moderator), then the forum software still calculates the number of pages that the user can select based on including those deleted posts.

The display functionality for pages skips the deleted posts and ends up displaying the wrong page count from the counting function which ignores deleted posts.

Terrible and on my iPhone it won’t disable. This is enough to keep me from using this site. Thanks.

I went in and made sure your settings were updated to the old style. Let me know if that helps or if you are still stuck on the new style.

In the forum page you have Sticky threads and underneath Normal threads.

Where are the Abnormal threads?

The Abnormal threads are generally in Off Topic

Having the Normal threads title is a bit peculiar and I will see about simply leaving it blank.

You should not mention Off Topic in the general forum.

The users might discover there is a seedy underbelly of RL with members only access.

BTW, for those of us who can't find the place to switch back, it is in the far left bottom corner of the screen, below the Posting Rules box in the gray bar that also contains the "Contact Us" link.

Also BTW, rather than continuing to polish this turd of a change to try to make it shiny, you need to switch everybody back to the old format and let people who actually want it opt in to the new format.
