Fix not sticking on iPhone despite several tries.
When I open the link - the forum skin is already showing "Rennlist " but infinite scroll and loading related threads continues to default.
Is there a different fix or another step I should take?
***UPDATE*** Related threads are now gone for logged in users. More updates to come but I know that was the biggest complaint.
Also, the iPhone will always default to a mobile style but you can go to the bottom and click on "View Full Site" and it should stay until your mobile cache is cleared.
I never use the mobile view. I ALWAYS use "View Full Site" and even so - after repeatedly choosing the correct forum skin it reverts to the infinite scroll.
I haven't tried logging out and back in again (was hoping to avoid this because the "remember me" function is very convenient). I'll give it a shot. If that doesn't work then I'll will likely stay off RL when using iPhone until it's fixed.
Thank God we can switch back to usual mode. There's not much more annoying on a forum as when you're trying to scroll back to the top of the page and instead of reaching the top you just keep scrolling through older posts.
Update:
Tried logging out, then back in.
Chose Rennlist forum skin.
Still reverting to inifinite scroll on iPhone despite correct forum skin showing in Misc choices.
There seems to be something running in the background that 'slows' loading pages down to the point where my iMAC 'kills' the page as it has been defined as unresponsive. Frustrating to the point that I often leave the site.
I'll confirm that my skin choice of "Rennlist", which was set using Nolan's instructions posted earlier, reverted to "Classic NextGen 2.0" after I opened the site with the iPad I keep in my shop. On return to the MacBook in my office, the site skin had reverted automatically.

I've had a similar problem, I'm pretty sure it's a runaway Java script. Suggest installing "NoScript" and eliminating scripts until the problem goes away...
