I was going to go with hagerty but not with a $3500 quote lol. I currently pay $600/yr if you take out the months it's sitting in storage. I wasn't expecting that from hagerty at all. This is for a .1 GT3

btw agreed value with current insurance is $130k and a $5k deductible.

My winter insurance is only about $10/month for my 2001 boxster.

This is with state farm. I confirmed with my new agent and it will apply again this year. There were rumours on here that it was no longer happening, but they have made the correction to re-allow it.

My summer insurance is about $90/month.

Just called Lant Insurance Brokers to ask if they can take the road coverage off my 2001 996 cab.
and was told they can not do that.
Has anyone else been able to get the road overages taken off with Lant ? they say this is policy?
I will be looking into getting a quote from my regular car insurance company to see if it worth switching over as they do
allow to take the coverage off for winter and I definitely do not drive it for a good 6 months

I save about $80-$85 per month when the car is in storage.

Meloche Monnex for me too - worked out to just over $100/month as well.

My broker is Western Financial and the insurance company is Saskatchewan General Insurance. Car is parked 6 months out of the year. I was surprised as well that the winter storage was a very small savings like the OP stated. The pessimistic side of me figured the insurance company does this specifically for cars they know will not be driven in the winter month.

Just parked mine.... I'm only paying $20 a month... The rest is covered under house insurance policy.
