Judging by the 3 exclamation marks in the thread title, OP is pretty EXCITED to collect and drive his new car from Halifax to Toronto. What an incredible way to get acquainted with a new Porsche!...Shipping a car is possible and I bet would be cheaper/less involved, but where is the fun in that?!

I actually saw your video on "Emergency roadside kit" on your channel. I Enjoy your video's man. I'd join you guys on your Aircooled runs with my 964 this summer

LOL, I knew it! I would be doing the exact same thing! Thanks for checking out the videos! I guess for a 2010 that list is a bit too old school, but like others pointed out, you'll be fine!! These cars are bulletproof. I'd worry most about the spare tire situation and really, not sure I would jimmy-rig anything on the side of the road; just CAA it to the nearest tire shop.

I inquired about the car you purchased a few months ago. What a beauty! HUGE CONGRATS! I'm curious to get your feedback on the GT2 seats after a day or two driving! lol

Definitely we have to cruise!

Wow. The last time I shipped a car from Toronto to Edmonton it was $1500.00. Of course...that was 1996.

So far for me, it's been NH, about 1000kms in a day. No issues at all. Considering taking it to Montreal in June for the Grand Prix, but concerned about parking, as we park for the whole weekend and Metro our way around.

Longest drive? Halifax to Muskoka, by myself, straight. Many many years ago, before the german bug.
One speeding ticket coming out of Algonquin park at 11:45pm. My fault, for not paying attention while flipping the cassette.

About 4 full days and I had 2 17 yr olds with me

I didn't worry about a spare. Since there is no room for one, why worry??

I had the goop and a premium CAA card so figured if something went wrong then it would slow me down but nothing more

Awesome...so if a young adult survived back seat of 997 for 4 days.
I should survive front Sport buckets for 2 days.
