Default Toronto '06 Cayman S Manual with 200K km on Kijiji

Has anyone checked this vehicle to see what is it about? Seller keeps dropping asking price and now is down to $21K. Was north of $25K just recently. I am guessing mileage is the issue if all else stands to sellers claims.
I'll update post to include link to Kijiji post when I get to computer.

This one?

Like any high mile Porsche I'd want a PPI, leakdown, code check for over rev and oil analysis.
A bargain can turn into a money pit PDQ without it.

Looks like car is being sold by original owner. If he has all service records I would not be so concerned about mileage. These cars are built well. I would take it to Mantis Racing in Oakville and have it checked out by Ernie. He knows these cars inside out.

I love high mileage cars. They are usually cheap because people are afraid of buying them. This is when it pays of knowing how to turn a wrench.

At that mileage the trade in offers from dealers will be stupid low. Best bet is for him to sell privately.

There were 2-3 06/07 Cayman S with mileage between 95k -115k sold between $21k-$25k few months ago.

Thanks for everyone's input. Very much appreciated. Not afraid of the mileage as I wrench myself for almost everything on my 944t. But luck of maintenance records would be something to turn me off.
This is what I got so far from the seller - Canadian car, third owner, owns it since last year June and got 15K km under his watch, not sure he can produce evidence for oil changes for last 100K km (even though says car comes with full service history), reaching out to P dealer who serviced car for the previous owner (allegedly) to get records, says he changed oil every 6K km during his ownership but needs to dig out receipts....
Sounds like a messy stuff LOL - more of Run Lola Run....
If I may ask you for your opinion - given the mileage and assuming oil service records are produced what would be a fair price for both sides?

10 year old car with 200k.....how much is left on the motor? 20,000 for a new motor and tranny ?
I'm thinking I would give him 10 at most, but i don't really need the headache

I bought a 255K A4 for 3K , so this car I would think 6-10 Max. I had things to fix on the a4 and just caught it before it grenaded due to lack of maintenance. caymans and Boxsters are just a headache due to engine location for diy guys.

two times too expensive.
I always try and keep the thought of...
"what can I sell this/my car for in 6 more months?"
Worth four digit$.

Yes, but then you end up owning a bunch of nice cars that you are forever working on. Ask me how I know .....
