Tesla Discount code- $1200 off a new vehicle
Hi everyone,
As some of you may know I bought a new Tesla Model S a few months ago and love it. Just wanted to share my referral link in case anyone was thinking of buying a new Model S or Model X. If you use the link below you will get $1200 off the MSRP and I will get credits to purchase accessories as well, so its a win-win for both parties.
Here is the link:
http://ts.la/arjun3314
The discount is only valid for placing an order from now until July 15, 2016.
Let me know if you have any questions regarding ownership as well!

This past winter we met a guy at Blue Mountain who was having a tough time with his Tesla. He left TO fully charged on a frigid Saturday morning (-37C windshield factor). By the time he got to Barrie, he did not have enough juice to make it to Blue Mountain. He stopped for lunch in Barrie to charge up. That took an hour. He arrived in BM, all is well, untill next morning the car is nearly dead. Turns out the car uses a lot of juice to keep the battery from freezing. The only charger he found in BM was at one of the hotels, which only lets their own customers use the charger. He begged them to let him use it, just so he can get to Barrie and kill another hour there to charge it to get back home. He was mad as hell.
Thanks for the offer, but mo thanks.

Seriously while I think Tesla might be on to something there are more cons than pros for me at this stage

I've had the car since December 2015 and I can say although it does use more power in the winter months, its not that much more. I've done 10K in the last 6 months or so and I love it. I haven't had any issues with the car either and the battery is under warranty for 8 years unlimited KM. Just like any new technology, the battery will get cheaper over time (similar to when the Prius first came out). Usually I charge my car at home every night, so its fully charged by the morning. If I need to charge on a road trip or during the day I go to the Tesla supercharger which takes 45min-1 hour for a full charge. Tesla pretty much has Superchargers setup within 400km from each other and plan to double their network by the end of next year.

I really like the model S and almost bought one in 2014, for the wife as a taxi for the kids, but I couldn't justify the price of the P85..
Ended up purchasing a Q5 TDI for a little more than half the cost of the P85...
I figured I could use the left over $50,000 for fuel, and at 1000km per tank with the TDI, we'll drive for free for awhile...

......and by loosing $15,000 per vehicle according to Bob Lutz in the current issue of R&T, you never will see this mere curiosity sold any cheaper. The funny thing is future fuel economy regs are forcing car companies to produce EV's no one wants at massive losses, further limiting Tesla's market potential. Can't imagine Tesla surviving.

Electric cars are a niche market vehicle and are better suited for warmer climates.
Switching over 100% to Electric vehicles would decimate the auto sector.
It'll never die (save the batteries of course)
It'll always be around in some form. Kind of like 3D TV.
