Very nice, and good call staying with the steal ramps. I wish I had not gotten the aluminum ramps, they are not strong enough for my 3500 lb 928.

Love the race deck.

So what's going in under the Porsche?

You garage looks to be about the same size, but I only have 10' ceilings. I went with a midrise Maxjax lift for maintenance.

Unfortunately, my other 2 bays are filled with stuff.

Actually I've been casually shopping late 50's to early 60's Beetles on Samba
Narrowed beam, drop spindles kind of thing. Hopefully with a killer 40 hp motor!

Air cooled next

I recognize the Porsche posters on the wall. I believe you picked them up from the PCA open house earlier this year.

Awesome! Does the oil canister dump directly into the sewer or do you have to drag it to the curb?

Ha ha. If only.
You hook up a compressor hose to it at 18 psi and it pumps the oil out via an attached hose so you can refill bottles or jugs for disposal. No more picking up a canister full of oil just to dump it all over the place.

If you don't get that Beetle , I'd be honoured to park my air-cooled in it's spot until spring

I used a local guy. Every garage door company does it. They replace the upper curved part that tilts the door away from the wall as it raises. And they have to replace the spring with a larger one due to the extra height load.

I got a few average quotes of about $400
