Default Garage ****

Okay my fellow Porschephiles.
So as some of you are aware, I've been busy with a self reno project here.
I'll give you the dirty details that should answer most any questions that may arise and my review of said products

- 4 post lift - Direct Lift: awesome , comes with a wheel kit so you can move it around if the need arises
- Floor tiles - Race Deck: shipped direct from Utah in 4 days from date of order!
Use their website. Enter your garage dimensions and then start clicking make up your own pattern and color
- cabinets - New Age products Bold series: Costco, Home Depot, Loews etc. Comes already assembled. Just screw in the legs to balance.
- In ceiling speakers -Boston Acoustics & Definitive Technology
- Stereo - Alpine - seem to make sense to use a car stereo in a garage
- High lift garage door - Any local door company
- Doors - Double steel insulated with frosted windows
- Door opener - Liftmaster 8500C direct drive, shaft mount. Super quiet and wi-fi too!
- two 110 cfm ceiling exhaust fans (this is the winter cigar lounge)
- ceiling mount retractable electrical and air hose
Florescent are 5k daylight. All other lights are LED
Oh and those kiddie foam floor tiles around the perimeter of the lower garage to prevent door dings

Still yet to do: overhead gas furnace, bar fridge, sub woofers.
Oh and as I know some are beer connoisseurs, the beer neon light on the wall are 20 years old that I got from a bar closing sale. Canadian is the only one of the bunch that I will drink.

Wow, that's the way I want Uber-Shine to look when it's a little more established ...I'm just not sure if my wife will lend me the money.

The car on the lift is 55". I still have another 73" to the ceiling so yes another low car will fit.
I just have to shift the canoe lift over a foot o two so the car can clear.

A little water can get under the tiles but i doubt very much as the snao fit is pretty tight but they have lots of channels for drainage and air movement if need be. They also have a perforated tile if you have a floor drain or intend on washing the car on the tiles.

Woah! That's amazing, my garage is so tight it barely fits my 997.2. I measured, 991 won't fit :S
Great job on the reno! I am definitely jealous!
