OT: Shameless Plug

a bit of a shameless plug here for my townhome in White Rock BC that I put up on the market for sale. The reason I post here is that it has a 3 car garage in a gated community which is like finding a needle in a hey stack for us car guys. Wish i could find something similar here in the GTA and at that price point...
So here is the link, the pictures dont do justice. Its a fab home and they dont make them like that anymore. Its fully repainted and it has brand new carpets through out. The appliances in the kitchen are fairly new as well, so its really a turn key rare gem of a home that can fit 3 p cars plus 2 in the driveway

Most I've seen are one garage with no driveway and no backyard. Of course the further away from the city, the more options. I want to be near the subway which is limiting.

I think that if you understand everything about the location and specs of my townhome in BC then you will realize the value as it compares to the GTA.
My townhome there:
-Its 2100 square feet. Try to find that size anywhere for that price alone.
- The 3 car garage alone is unobtanium in the GTA for the price/size of home or most anywhere for that matter, not to mention in a townhome!
-Its in a gated community, which to me adds another layer of piece of mind.
-When you compare White Rock, you are looking at Oakville/Burlington type of a suburb.
- My location is exactly 3 minutes from the highway, 8 minutes from the border, 7 minutes from the beach, has a bus stop outside the gate, it surrounded within walking distance to supermarkets and shops, 20 minutes to Richmond and 40 to the downtown core with all the crappy Vancouver traffic included. I live in Burlington and its exactly double the mileage that I used to do to the downtown core.
- All the new townhomes are max 1500 SF, skinny, with narrow staircases and tall to maximize the developers value. When you see my townhome and its interior space, not to mention the width of it, it cant compare. Besides the fact that in reality its a duplex, the size of the rooms compare to a large home rather than a townhome. In the 2nd master which was our master bedroom I had a full king, a set of large extra closets, a large sofa and seating area and i had room to spare.
- The backyard is large and very private facing the park in the middle of the complex. I have not found in a townhome anywhere the size of that backyard which hosted in the past many BBQ gatherings with friends.
I truly wish the pictures would do justice. You need to experience the home to get it. I can tell you that. If I did not have to move due to my job in Ontario, we would still be in our home there. It is perfect for a family due to its location, convenience, size, layout and most importantly that 3 car garage
By the way, map shows your place as being in middle of Surrey, not White Rock..maybe a mapping error?
In Burlington the only true double car garages are in older homes. A true double car will allow you to actually open all car doors.
There are ton's of three car garages in Milcroft (a.k.a. divorce court), but your paying 800k plus
3 bedroom south of Kingston Rd and Warden. Detached, long driveway that can hold 5-6 cars and a detached garage in the back. I spent quite a bit of time on the garage that holds my 993. Its not a big garage but its certainly workable
You will never find anything close to TO for the price that DJF1's beautiful place is going for but there are more modest accomodations that will work.
Shameless plug as well I guess...
