Default 2009 at Porsche London?

What do you guys that know 997's think of this car and price? We have been pricing out new Caymans and I want to compare to a nice 997.2 before pulling the trigger. Cayman is $87K and this 2009 CPO is $62K.

I'll likely be up there tomorrow and will try to have a quick look over it

Ask camsporche, he was looking at that car, apparently not much breathing room on price as they "overpaid" for that car they say

If you do want to inquire more about the car, Tim Bamford is the one to talk with, great guy- no B.S.

It has sat on their lot for almost a year now.

Local car, seems clean but they will not budge under $61k. They claim the price was dropped recently but full of B.S. as its been at $61,900 since at least December.

The ceramic brakes are on odd option to have chosen from new on this car (unless the original owner did a lot of track driving). If I recall correctly, selecting the ceramic brake option on the non-S pretty much took you up to the price of an S with standard brakes, in which case I would much rather have gone with the extra 45 bhp and settled for the already excellent standard brakes.

I do like the colour, though, and the car seems to be in great condition.

The car looks great but not sure if I'm digging the rims?
Maybe they look better in person....take it for a drive and talk price...you just never know!

agreed, the oem 18 base wheels look too small for the car.

IMO the price is very good. I'm in the process of putting my 2009 up for sale, so I've been trying to get a read on where it should be priced, and thus researching 2009 prices. It may be hampered by the yellow gauges (which are obviously easily changed) but it has low kms and CPO.

edit: And yes, the wheels are too small, but $4k can fix that. Looks good to me.

I don't feel it is. With 13% tax its now a $70k car...

If the Canadian dollar wasn't in the tank then compared to current U.S. pricing its considerably overpriced.

Warranty on this car expires this year too...and not eligible for further Porsche warranty. One of the reasons I passed on this car.

Why is it not eligible for further warranty? Isn't this a cpo?

I wouldn't buy a base 911 with PCCB for that price and mileage, I'd much rather find an "S" with sport chrono. Nice colour though!!
