Theoretically you should wait until it is >7° out all the time before switching but I have never done that and never had a problem. Even though summer tires are rock hard in the cold, if there is no snow, it's not a problem as long as you're careful. Had my summer car out for a spin last night as I couldn't wait any longer. No issues.

That's the best news I've heard since November 2013.

Slow progression. Out into the driveway.Have to empty out the garage.
Maybe a rip around the hood,no plates or ins. I have to be cool.

Been driving with them for almost a week. Drive like a normal person and all will be well.

looking at the long range forecast, I don't see me switching to my summer tires until end of the month. the mornings are still low single digits and 50% of my daily drive is before 8 a.m.

Same here with the driving in morning. My commute is only 5klms.
Waiting until end of month to put summers on.

brand new summers on the is250, and summers also back on the suv (+alignment).

i dread (hate) lifting the heavy *** tires back onto the garage rack.
