[QUOTE=KillPhil;10798454]I'm in. I was just down at DFC with Ronan and we were getting the Cayenne ready for Route 66 again. He offered me the White GT3 RS for the Fall Run. Duh! OK so this is going to be great!!!

On another topic anyone know of a place that can do good trailer service (Trailex, all aluminum) and they have to know electrical - the 2004 Cayenne will not recognize the LED lights on the trailer so the flashers won't work and that's a problem.

I suspect you need resistors across the trailer LED's. The Cayenne cannot detect the trailer lights if they are LED without resistors and possibly error correction for turn signals.
I rented a tailer once and was to pull it with the Touareg but the trailer had LED lights and no resistors or error correction. The Touareg indicated all my trailer lights were burnt out and the turn signals would not work at all.
Sounds like you have a similar or the same problem. For me it was an easy fix, just exchange trailer for non LED.
Good luck. Wish I could help more.

See if you can get an adapter that has a resistor pack in it. I'm sure they make it.

I just talked to the manager at Hutch's. They can't take a reservation, but she said we shouldn't have any problem. Their peak time is around 1-1:30, so if we're there then, we might not all get seated, which means some of us might be eating outside, but there shouldn't be any delay in getting orders up with a crush of 50 or so people. If we arrive more at 12-12:30, we should all be able to be seated.

Christian: any chance of posting the route map and instructions here so we could print them in advance?

Agreed.
But maybe a PM instead of making it public.

Route map will come by pm once it's done. I'm hoping to find a chance to pre-drive the route, to make sure there aren't any closures. If you've still got the pm from me with last year's route, it'll be almost identical, except for the ending point.

I think he lost a ball bearing in the engine.
