I'd be willing to install the motor for any interested parties. I did a spreadsheet up for one guy and if you wanted ALL the maintenance parts replaced as well as clutch and IMS solution looks like about $10,000. The afore mentioned price would INCLUDE a BRAND NEW set of Michelin Pilot Supersport 19" tires. I've got a guy coming this week to get a ballpark on the hail damage but I would estimate between $1500-$2500 to get it back to 95% of original (its got 115,000 KM on it so 95% is probably good enough for most).

Great drivers car. I'll be VERY sad to see her go.

If the insurance payout for hail damage was $7000, how do you estimate repair at $1500-2500?

Insurance (as it often is) over priced and involved getting the car back to 100% using all new OE parts. As we all know there are better options out there for the savvy buyer not to mention PDR is much less expensive when its a cash deal and the demand that comes with widespread hail damage isn't there.

We're you interested in purchasing the vehicle? Call me and we can discuss...

Again, $1500-2500 to get it 95%... Not 100%

Did you ever get back the money from the engine that never existed?

I got 90% of it back minus some fees. Thanks for the kind words. I just need to get on with life. The monthly payments are absolutely stifling me at the moment.

Yes and no. I love the car and still hate to see it go and have learnt an expensive lesson but I'll live to play another day.
