So from the sounds of it, the right answer is to modify your car so that it CAN.

Yep. I know some of the regional guys can do with with slicks and big wings. Not worth it for a daily driver though. Have slicks on the bike and it feels like I'm going thru there at a good enuff pace at 1/4th the price that it would take to prep up the car lol.

Entry speed in a 996 would be 180 kph. I think that is too fast to keep it floored. If they are able to do that in a 996 then they must be running some very quick laps.
