Mine has been the best car that Ive ever owned for the 18mos I have had it. It has not been without some very minor issues, but IMO it is the ultimate DD, if that is what you are looking for.

If I were to take it to the track, I bet that it would easily wipe my previous best time at Mosport (that was done in a fast NSX).

Im sure you know what to look out for - let me know if you'd like to discuss why trials and tribulations in purchasing a turbo.

You might be surprised - the difference between me driving a 2002 996tt and my 72 with a 2.0L 135hp engine is only about 20 seconds, at least 10 of which comes from the back straight.

VW in Hamilton had one for sale not too long ago, seal grey on black 6spd IIRC, was the dealer principal's car...might be worth looking into
