Great Job.

Couple things with the lift, is that you're going to need supplemental lights for working under the car. I haven't found anything that I love yet. I have just been using a trouble light, and some other portable worklights. Lots of shadows when working below the car.

TV. Couple years ago, I bought a 27" CRT off of kijiji for $30. It sits up high in the corner of my garage. It was a workout to get it up there. Good thing with CRT's is that they are fairly resistant to cold temperatures. Trying to convince my wife we need a new TV in the main room, so I can move the 37" LCD out to the garage. Not sure how LCD's handle below 0C temps.

One concern. The SPF studs you have on either side of the main garage door. Is there anything under them? Looks like you've got some puddling of water in the one corner. Might be an issue in the future.

Now you just need a big screen TV, some tunes and a mini fridge - will be cool place to hang out.

Very daring on the orange walls / pink doors combo!
I have an extra receiver and speakers. I may move my mini fridge up from the basement if I have room.

The pink doors are just primer, still to be finished up.

I may have to hold off on a TV for a while or the wife is gonna kill me.

Water has always pooled in the corners, I'm going to fill that with some hydraulic cement so the water flows out the door properly.

_____________

I still have to finish shelving, tire racks, door trim paint, door trim, concrete border painting and probably a fast floor. But im going to hold off on the rest till the lift is in place.

Looking really good! I have to admit, that colour works! I never would have thought it would be good for a garage, but I like it!

Good luck with the install tomorrow. Thanks to your helpful info, I ended up going with the same lift from ADG as well (install is late in May).

Recent shot of my garage. 2 lifts, foam insulation, heater, drywall, hot and cold water and Ethernet. TV and extra shelving coming soon.

I never have time to even think about watchimg TV in the garage. Maybe listen to the radio when working on cars but that's it.

Imre, I use it for background noise mostly. Usually some sports channel or speed.

I have had an LCD tv in my garage for three years with no issues. My garage is fully insulated, and so is the door. I can tell you that even on the coldest days, I can leave bottled water in the garage and it won't freeze. Obviously keeping the big door closed as much as possible during winter.

+1 on the background noise, or when taking a break or shooting the breeze with friends..but then we break out the chairs and beer, and we don't get a lot done on the cars.

Good thing you measured! Nice looking lift.

Do you have space for your tool box?
