Awesome! Look forward to the rest.

Has anybody seen Harding Steel lifts in person? The residential car lift of course.

Purchased the lift today. I actually ended up buying the propark 8s from ADG. With the jack aluminum ramps, delivery and install it ended up being about $200 cheaper then the restomod at the lift superstore. Plus I like the cable locking system on the direct lift, you can never have to much safety.

Delivery and set up is scheduled from April 30th.

Ross was very helpful and seemed to know his stuff.

That reminds me of the opening scene of "Friendly Giant". However, an amazing set up for a single car garage. I wish I had the ceiling height for the lift.

I had a company come out today and quote Epoxy, it came at $550 if I do some of the prep, $200 more if I do nothing. They showed me photo's, nice work.

They suggested that they do it after my lift is installed, but I'm concerned about moisture getting trapped under the base plates as the Epoxy will create a lip around the base plate. I'm going to ask Direct Lift what they would recommend, before or after.

I'm still not sold on any one option, they are:

1: Versa roll from Costco. $380
2: Epoxy $550 +
3: Fast Flor (or Similar) $550
4: Just clean the concrete and nothing else $0

?????

I'd say do nothing and use the money for other purposes, you may become OCD with the cleaness of the floor with any of the surfaces, just one more thing to get in the way of go out and drive the car.

Every spring I sweep and pressure wash my untreated concrete garage floor, looks just fine after 10 years.

Any concerns with sealing/epoxy a residential garage floor? I recall reading about moisture release through the concrete floor somewhere as being necessary. However tons of people do it.

What happens when you no longer have a 928? Keep the pattern universal.

Or go to sell the house.. trying to find a buyer who likes your house AND had a 928 might take a while

Any updates on the garage door? Is it trimmed out yet?

Having a lift is cool, but that garage door doesn't do it for me as an exterior door on your house...

They quoted me 7k for a door. No thanks.

My door is 90% done, and matches our main door well.

If I do the fast flor it will likely just be the standard checker board, as it would be hard to read the numbers any way.
