Bad rap for 911 owners?
Anybody read the Wheels section in the Toronto Star today about Aston Martin's 100th anniversary? There was a quote from a doctor who had just purchased an Aston Martin -
“I get all the James Bond comments from my friends,” says Yelian Garcia, a Toronto doctor who took delivery of his first Aston Martin last month: a $180,000, 2013 Vantage Centenary Edition. “I love the brand, I love the exclusivity. I love the name and what it represents.”
He says he was thinking of buying a custom-built Porsche, but decided against it when he looked out the window of his gym and saw three 911s in the parking lot.
“The last thing I want, after everything I’ve done, is for people to look at me and say, ‘there goes another douchebag in a 911,’ ” he says.

Nice looking car, but I think over $300k, not $180k.

Mixed ratings but the negative ones make him sound like a real piece of work!

We know two things about the Star. That it:
leans so left that it walks in circles
like every other paper, needs to stir things up for the purposes of selling papers
Let it go - the quote will be forgotten (as it should be) soon

What would an Aston Martin driving proctologist know about douchebags?
Interestingly enough, it's Aston Martin that has a model with DB in the name.

Well..evidently buys a car for status above all. Just wants exclusivity. Guess he would not likely want to see a line of cars like we have at the GTG. Unless he looks like Daniel Craig the James Bond comments might be comical.

Dr. Garcia, was quoted in the Toronto Star newspaper as saying, "The last thing I want, after everything I've done, is for people to look at me and say, 'there goes another douchebag in a 911.'" When referring to his purchase of a 180K Aston Martin sports car, over a model from Porsche. It is my personal opinion that Dr. Garcia likes to make broad and sweeping generizations about people and the quality of their character based on the type of automobile they drive. It seems like Dr. Garcia is a rather self absorbed and vapid human being, more interested in money and and the image he projects, than the actual health care of patients. I would advise people to avoid the services of Dr. Yelian Garcia if you are seeking quality and compassionate medical care.

Well done, whoever the Rennlist Canada member is who posted this, that just made my day.
Oh, somebody should sign up to the AM forum and post the link. Do they have a forum or just the subforum in 6Speed?
