Dr. Garcia, was quoted in the Toronto Star newspaper as saying, "The last thing I want, after everything I've done, is for people to look at me and say, 'there goes another douchebag in a 911.'" When referring to his purchase of a 180K Aston Martin sports car, over a model from Porsche. It is my personal opinion that Dr. Garcia likes to make broad and sweeping generizations about people and the quality of their character based on the type of automobile they drive. It seems like Dr. Garcia is a rather self absorbed and vapid human being, more interested in money and and the image he projects, than the actual health care of patients. I would advise people to avoid the services of Dr. Yelian Garcia if you are seeking quality and compassionate medical care.

I'm always amazed that people allow themselves to be featured in the media in connection with owning this or that (usually, a home), and this is a perfect example of what can happen. That guy's colleagues won't forget this for years.
And the Star's editors have to be delighted that they could publish this during the fee negotiations between the Ontario Medical Association and the Province.

Before we all throw rocks in our Porsche Design TM glass house, let's bear in mind that a very high # of Porsche drivers make their automotive choices for exactly the same reason. Granted, this forum caters to enthusiasts, which should hopefully keep the poser count low, but there are still a lot of ******** driving Porsches.

^^^^ +1 just spend a day downtown in the financial district. A dime a dozen. More 996 and 997's than Toyota's ......

I say drive what you like and don't worry about others. There are douche bags in every brand.

Stupid thing to say to the press and I'm sure he is regretting it already. Doesn't sound like an enthusiast anyway as he just wants something to impress others. Clearly a "look at me" type of guy. That said, lots of Porsche owners buy for the same reason.
