Default Cayenne Diesel

Saw it two days ago with a dealer plate. Nice SUV but man....a diesel tag on a Porsche is just soooooo wrong.

what is the world coming to...

There should be two companies, one named Porsche limited exclusively to sports cars and the name for the other one, leave that up to others...

Diesel does not mean slow....look at what the audi r10 did.
The tdi engine is incredible with lots of torque and good on gas. I will be getting this for the wife when it is time to replace the touareg.

I'll probably pick one up when the prices drop as well. Heck if the world ended I could make my own diesel if I really had to.

Don't knock it 'till you've tried it! I've had my diesel for over 2 months now and I can tell you it's a phenomenal DD. The torque and handling are superb, and the over 1000 kms per tank of fuel brings a smile to my face.

More right, then hill assist, auto blip when down shifting with a manul, pdk or launch assist. Face it Porsche moves with the times and what the market wants.

a diesel tag on a Porsche is just soooooo wrong.
Spoken just like that German farmer in 1948, who peered beyond his fields while driving his tractor, and saw a flattened looking VW Beetle. Upon another glance he noticed the marque, and said to himself "Schande, das kann nicht sein!"

The rest was history ...

Yes, Porsche was about diesel utility, before there was a 911. These tractors were even manufactured at the same time as early 911's.
