Mosport in the rain is really the time to tell the wanna be's from the drivers... but it is also a great time to learn. Relax, take your time and have fun. I love driving in the rain as much, or more then the dry as you can get that 10/10ths experience at 80 km/hr.

4 of us from montreal are coming down this weekend, see you on track!
watch this, we were a bunch of guys who got surprised by the rain.
One ended up in the wall
two did 180 and 275 degree
and me 2 wheels off

Rain line is completely different from the dry line. Drive around the outside of the track for traction and watch yourself crossing the concrete patches.
Take it super easy and bring it back to basics and you'll have an awesome day.

keep your summers on
if it rains just switch modes to practice rally driving mode
turn in a bit early with a little too much speed, lift, then break the back free with the throttle and rally drive the corner holding a 20 degree slip angle as long as you can
the best corner to start on is #3
by the end of the day you should be able to drift the car from the apex to almost the trackout rumbles
corner 8 and 9 are also very doable - 8, with the large run off area left is now much easier and safer to do
the other corner, when you build up to it, is #2 - it is quite hysterical the slip angle you can get going down #2
i seriously recommend you try it in a downpour - you will learn a lot - i absolutely love driving in the rain - just go slow and get the car sideways

Actually we were all sideways through 5 on that lap. I was 1 min ahead of Seb and definitely drifting through 5. BTW I find driving in the wet a much better experience than driving in the dry, as you have to feel your car and find your own way around the track. NO CONES.

It was spitting in 5 for a while and no one slowed down.
2nd last lap it was raining and guys are driving the dry line.
Then it started to rain hard. Car into the wall. Our session is over ...

Yeah, that was pretty crazy. Its still not clear to me whether that mayhem in 5 was just from the sudden rain, or if someone put some coolant down....

Corner 8 is where I really would give it a shot and I have done it sliding up 5 which seemed pretty safe area to do it.
