The fog was so heavy they did not open the track until 11. A lot of people took off in the morning. No incidents today.

It got better. 35 min track time by combining the white/black group and green/yellow group, and the red group. The track wasn't completely dry after the second green/yellow run. I packed it in for the last red run. At least it wasn't cold.

Hey, I'm at the Glen, too!

My car locked my keys in itself, but we were able to get it open in time to leave. It's going to have a power lock brain lobotomy tomorrow in the garages at the Glen.

Really can't wait to start DE next year. Car should be ready for it by then

Last run of the day was amazing I thought.
It dried up pretty good inbetween the wet and dry line. I call it the modified wet line!
I was impressed how fast you could go not running the proper dry line.

Take it super easy and bring it back to basics and you'll have an awesome day.
This thread stirred memories of a lapping day I had last year @ Mosport--pouring rain all day long. Once I got out there and got my feet wet (ha ha) I didn't want to come in....it turned into one of the most enjoyable days I've ever had.

Off to the Glen....was there last week when the temp was 3degC--it may as well have been wet as there was NO grip all morning until it warmed up a bit...

Sorry I missed you at the Glen Gary....I heard it was a crashfest. You should have come up for the last 6th Gear day!

Chris, I had both events on my calendar and literally flipped a coin.....crashfest isn't the word. There were FOUR hits before lunch on the first day! I couldn't do the second day as I had to get to Mid-Ohio but I heard it was much better--I've been on that track a million times and I've never seen it so slow to grip up. The day I was referring to in my orig. post was a 6th Gear day--always a great time. Next year.....

Regards,
Gary
