Third and final race of the 2012 Spring Classic in GT Challenge. Finished 4th overall and 1st in GTB class. This time there was a real battle in the GTB class with an Acura NSX and a Viper ACR-X. I got the lead in class early but was passed by the Acura and closely followed by the Viper until I finally got the lead back to the checkered flag. Clean racing and great fun !

I was there on Sunday, watching from turn 12 at the bridge most of the day - great racing.

Russ in the Stor was untouchable.

 

Contour +. They are cheap and simple to use.

These Storh can do a 1:27 lap at Tremblant. They can be behind you very quickly and they are tough to see from a GT car. A bit scary to manage.

 

Scary for both drivers I'm sure.
I spoke with Russ after the morning run and he shared same and that he has to be cautious to allow the GT cars ahead to know he is there.

 

Russ is driving cautiously and even has a light that we can see in our mirrors to help us. It is useless to try racing with these cars so when I see him I usely slow down and give him a signal to pass.
