Some final tips:
Stay away from kids with greasy fingers, ice cream or soda
When hand polishing do small areas at a time
Be meticulous about cleaning off before every stage
Use only terrycloth to buff up in early stages, finish with diaper cloth or turkish cotton
Take the labels off any cloth you use, They scratch your work
Apply and remove polish in straight lines or around rim
Clean your hands before each new stage
Use barrier creams to protect your skin, goggles if you are power buffing to protect your eyes
Do small areas at a time, it is the fastest way
Every stage is a preparation stage, only the last wipe over is your finish
Avoid skin contamination, especially when power buffing. Excess aluminum in the system causes brittleness of the bones, loss of teeth, Alzheimer's disorder, and I don't remember what else
Perfect preparation prevents poor polishing
