Fireball Perforamnce Coatings - Used Them?
Hey,
Has anybody used this company for coating work?
Thinking of getting my sport tailpipes ceramic coated.
Thanks

They have a pretty good rep in the tuner side of things. I'm sending my RX-7 downpipe to them to have it coated next week. They respond to e-mails very quickly and have a toronto dropoff location to make it easier to get to them.

They did my calipers, they're decent.

Thanks for the comments. Haven't received a response to my weekend email yet.
I may go ahead and use them.

Just drove up and dropped my downpipe off (slow day and it's a nice area to drive thru). The place is in the Boot Hill automall...which is basically what an outlet mall for men would be like if it was styled like a western saloon...aka totally f*cking awesome. Seriously...instead of places for your wife to drain your wallet, you can walk into a random shop and get custom upholstry, paintwork, etc etc...
The whole complex specializes in what looked like rather pricey hot rod/custom builds and frame off restorations. Fireball itself was very professional and their prices pretty good (no Porsche tax here that's for sure). I'll be going back again with my bike rims and probably some other odds and sods as needed.
Take a detour thru forks of the credit on your way home.

Hmm, I didn't know it was in there. I stumbled upon that place weeks back when I first checked out what this Forks stuff was all about. It was closed on the weekend, but went up to the window....looks like some cool stuff in there.
I wonder if they'll open up for us Porsches and give us a tour.

There was this thread https://rennlist.com/forums/rennlist...to-barrie.html
I also didn't hear from them when I contacted them through their website, so I picked up the phone and called them, I was looking at getting a pair of mufflers ceramic coated, and was quoted $125 each.

I checked out their site http://www.brightsidecoatings.com/blog/ and there is a description for ceramic coating, also a sub section under the Gallery tab for ceramic coatings they have done, including pistons, I don't think Fireball does that.
I might give them a call to see how much my Fister D mufflers will cost to ceramic coat.
