Default RSP Motorsports Dyno Day Part II

Well as most of the dyno day guys will attest to my car put up a **** poor performance. I decided to take Stephan and Renato up on there offer to increase the performance over my current software set up.

Boy did they deliever! Took the car in this am at 830am and left there at 430pm with my car on the dyno basically all day with the group to run the program, set up baselines etc.

First off it was way hotter, ie 38deg c in the dyno room vs our dyno day of 15-18deg. My car at the end of the day was heat soaked, the IPD heat soaked yet it still bested my previous runs in the cool by over 20hp. With proper air it would have been 5-10hp more for sure (the guys thought easily).

Final figures were 294hp and 266tq at the flywheel. Also had the sprint program installed (just like a sprint booster but through software) and throttle response is amazing, like night and day from my other tune. My previous numbers for reference were 277hp and 264tq with my GIAC tune last week with everyone and stock tune this morning was 273hp and 242tq.

I will post up the charts later tonight or tomorrow when I get a chance.
I would not hesitate to recommend these guys, they worked hard to make the car work and did not stop until it was done right. If you want a car tuned properly and to your specifice car, with your specific mods using Posrche based software then this is it.

I was very impressed by them as well.

What rpm was your peak tq at before and where is it now?

Change only the tuning? And hardware?

Nice results today!

Thanks!
Only tuning change, no hardware at all. And like I said the heat was crazy so expect more power on a cooler day (poor car was worked hard today). Tq peak moved a bit to the right, and stays strong, peak now at 4600rpm vs 4400rpm before, stays at or above 250ft/lb from 4100-5600, hp over 260hp from 5300-7300 so picks up nicely right after tq starts to drop at 5250rpm cross over.
I am rarely impressed and have delt with many speed shops and dynos in my previous domestic speed endevours, these guys can tune a Porsche!

Nice moves in the right directions. Glad to see that RSP can deliver results. Did you also resolve the vibration ?

So from no tune you got a 20 hp and tq increase with their tune. That is really good.

With both GIAC tune and the RSP tune your torque was similar. Looks like it mostly gained HP and a 2 increase in torque which is good that it didn't sacrifice torque to get more hp.

Would like to see the curves. For all 4 measurements for both crank and wheel hp/tq

This is the only one I have on me, will get the others up later when i am back at home.
It compares engine hp from GIAC tune to RSP tune. Lost a little power below 4k but gained alot thereafter. Also the curves are nice and smooth, plus (and really not any excuse) it was very very hot by this time, it is what it is when tuning all day.

Here was mine. It looks like your making good torque while mine suffers.
