Anyway, ever since then, I've been a convert. The barn car is covered by Silver Wheels (as was my 72 T Targa) and for ~$240 a year, I can't complain!

Thanks, I built most of it myself. Yes it is cheap to insure and run but it looks like its sold now, its time to move on so not a keeper for me. I hope I don't end up with sellers remorse lol

A friend of mine is insured through Silver Wheels with his 1968 Satellite Convertible. When it rolled into the Castor River a few years ago (long, but funny story) he was treated very well and they sent his car to a local restoration ship (ASE in Osgoode) for a full going-over. New interior, some new electrics, body/paint and a mechanical rebuild... must have been one heck of a bill but they just cut him a cheque without a complaint! Class act.
Anyway, ever since then, I've been a convert. The barn car is covered by Silver Wheels (as was my 72 T Targa) and for ~$240 a year, I can't complain!
