Default How to get rid of furniture?

Can someone recommend a charity that picks up furniture? I need 2 move back to toronto and have to get rid of everything.

It's all in great shape. Have the following:
- layzboy reclining sofa and love seat.
- office desk (with obligatory racing stickers on em)
- a single bed w/ mattress
- some random tables and chairs.

If anyone on renny wants it for free (got kids in uni?) they can have it. Otherwise, looking for recommendations for charities that pick up, or a junk hauling service that isn't expensive.

Canadian Diabetes Association do pick-ups. Call and find out if they're coming to your 'hood. Not sure if they take big items though. Worth asking.

I know of a couple of students who might be interested. They could really use some help in getting their first apartment outfitted.

If you're stuck, join this group and post it. It's a "recycling" group where you can ask for something if you need it, or post up what you have to offer to others. Everything has to be free. I use this to get rid of bulky items I no longer have any use for. Your stuff will be snatched up quickly and the people will come pick it up.

do you have any patio furniture? I am assuming the university junk removal will be cheap, you can always post adds on kijji for free, lots of people look into that.

I thought tossing it off a sixth floor apartment followed by a body. No one will notice the furniture.

I recommend Kijiji.ca under the "FREE" section.....you'd be surprised how many will show up within the "hour".....lol.

I had to fend off the wolves when I was clearing my old home.....lol

I'm pretty sure they're not taking furniture but worth asking.
