EVO reviews the 991, and not well.
Mag is not out here yet, but has a history of really liking Porsches.
This one, not so much.
- came third in a comparo with the R8 and the GT-R ( a bit unfair for the GTR to be head to head.)
Couple of quotes:
'The R8 beats the 991 on subjective feel'
991:
'Theres a layer of gauze between you and the car'
'Rather aloof and cold'
'Lacking cohesion and sweet uniformity of weight'
'An inconsistency of connection'
'A general lack of detail through the wheel'
'Sounds like..looks like...but doesnt drive like a 911'
Quite different to the Autocar review. Interesting.
