Default eShine as a forum sponsor?

Hi All,

I've been lurking around this forum for the past little while in preparation for Porsche ownership, just checking out the community here in Canada. I spend most of my time reading posts in the 964 forum (where my introduction thread is as well) as that is the car I am planning to get but I make sure to visit the Canada forum as well.

Anyway, I contacted Chris at eShine about forum member discounts for rennlist members and he said he was going to look into sponsorship prices. I think eShine offers members of forums that they sponsor a small discount and I know eShine has a very good reputation with members here. So I figured I'd make a little thread to show him the kind of support he has over here and that it might be worthwhile to be a sponsor... and in return, we might get a little discount on his products. It might be good for him too consider the amount of detailing products Porsche owners tend to go through

If you're an eShine customer, have been one in the past, or would like to be one in the future... or if you just want to see eShine become a sponsor, please post in this thread and I will bring it to Chris' attention.

Thanks for reading,

Mike

Jim, once your car is ready, you'll be shining it up with products from eshine. They are a Canadian online retailer of car care products.

Yes... and they're priced very competitively with US online retailers. With the addition of a forum discount on your order and the lower shipping rate (i.e. free with a minimum purchase $$$), it might even be cheaper to buy from them than an US online retailer.

Thanks for the replies thus far. Hopefully we get more interest to make their sponsorship worthwhile.

bottom line for me.

....as long as sponsorship costs don't increase prices, then go for it.

.... I hardly click ads anyways. I got onto eshine thru recommendations on this forum.

I've been a long time eshine customer and have been happy with the service. I ordered a Porter Cable 7424XP last year with Menzerna/Lake Country products and couldn't be happier. I polished and waxed the car last week and it looks like the day I bought it, four years later. Menzerna is great stuff!

To answer the question, a discount would be nice, but the reality is that most of the purchases I've made are ~$100 so a few percentage won't really be of much benefit to me. I did however spend $300 in one shot last year when buying the PC 7424 so it could be somewhat useful to others that spend more.
