My new tire machine!
#31
Straight up added this one. It's our 4th in the shop and I could probably even use another one when the snowfalls but I'll have to save up for it next year. I can check with my equipment guy but they're probably about $500. Keep in mind that you can only do steel wheel with that one and you won't be able to balance tires.

Ahhh - but I have access to a balancer already... just need a tire machine - looking for a turn table type with the bead breaker on the side, with the mount dis-mount bar that comes down from top. I will try and find a pic. Thanks for checking - that would be great.

Got a line on a couple Hoffman units. Tilt back with rim clamp and bead breaker on the side. Looking at about $1500. Let me know if you're interested. adam.roseneck@gmail.com

Just to add my 2 cents worth...had to have a safety done ( plus emissions...) to plate my 993 here in Ontario, went to the only place in town that does that...Can Tire, with some trepidation. Turns out the manager is a super guy and has one employee that does all the import stuff, including Testa Rossa's! At Can Tire in Alexandria! Go figure. He's a great young man, loves cars, especially Porsches, and owns a 944, ( all he can afford at the time...), and was super careful driving my car in and out, etc, etc.
I was ( am still am ) nervous even parking in the CT lot but wouldn't hesitate to take my car back for general repair/maintenance.
