runnerbeep,

welcome to rennlist Canada.

I hate you.

Peter

(PS Enjoy the lift. I've just got the lines off the floor last night. I got hoses made up at Princess Auto. $90 for about 38' of hose. (2 by 19'). Should have got a couple feet more for a cleaner install.... Oh well, Next time. )

It appears they can't seem to make up their mind. Its back to $1999.99 again on their site.

I think I'll get a membership with the hopes that the lift will go on sale sometime within my membership year. If it doesn't, I'll just get a full refund of my membership. To quote them: "We will refund your membership fee in full at any time if you are dissatisfied". I will be dissatisfied if it doesn't go on sale. In the mean time, I'll get my imported beer at Costco cheaper.

They do at their Quebec outlets.

Of course in the nanny state of Ontario, they have to make sure all us sheep are "protected". Brewers Retail hates competition.

BTW, 24 x 500 ml tins of Grolsch goes for $35.99. Not my favourite, but they stopped carrying Beck's.

Costco sells beer/wine/spirits here in Alberta. Safeway, Sobeys and Co-op have liquor stores too!!! We are also old enough to have private outlets as well. Ontario.......not so much

Hi I have got to say I payed less for a two post low rise it says 9000lbs lift. Total was under $1850.00 that was for shipping and PST or what ever customs charges. The max jax was more and I can tell you I have had F250 8 foot box extended cab and it lifts with no problems. Works REAL good . Just installed short shifter today. My garage ceiling is just under 11 feet high.

Try $2499.99 as of recent Costco pricing.

They are dreaming! Good thing I have other options.

A heads up if anyone is thinking about one...

No time frame listed, but Costco.ca has the MaxJax listed for $1999.99 again...at least at this moment. Who knows what they'll do the next minute.

Last year they listed it for $1699.99 during a 2-week period, but quickly reneged saying it was a mistake (post #25).

I tried getting a price difference refund, but no go, so I cancelled my membership and got a full refund. Anyone not a regular at Costco might do the same after buying the MaxJax.
