Because based on my experience most purchases up here are nearly double. In fact, my savings work out to 43% and its only getting better with the present exchange rate.

Parts were purchased at AutohausAZ or Pelican from what I heard.

 

My experience this past weekend, was waiting on some parts I mail ordered, didn't want to wait on an oil change, dropped by Autoimport, paid $18 for a bosch filter for my 944.

The 4 that were in my shipment of parts ( I usually keep a bunch) were under $5 each, same part.

Thats some mark up! I use them for my alignments on the 944, have been satisfied with my limitted experience on the service side.

 

Auto Import has closed up in it's previous location and moved there service centre to Kemptville! That's what the tiny sign in the garage window say anyway. No mention on their website of any change.

 

What's with all these old threads being brought back to life?
