I have had a great experience with Ernie and his team at Mantis who is close to me. The people on the board also speak highly of EU Autowerks.

You could try Henry Costa at Refined Motorsports. He is located on Evans Ave. in the dealership on the north side west of Islington.

You could add EU Autowerks in Woodbridge to your list. They have done tons of RMS + IMS updates already.

I've had good experiences with Autowerks and with Mantis. I trust both of these shops. Fiorano is also very capable, from what I've heard, but no first-hand experience myself. Never heard of the other 2.

Just out of curiousity, how much would one expect this repair to cost?

typically the job is a billable 10-14 hours at average labor rates

It's basically the same labour time as replacing a clutch.

Has anyone installed the LN Engineering IMS upgrade with the shops mentioned above?

Thanks for the feedback. I should have mentioned that the IMS will be the LN Engineering bearing. As for price, as low as $1800 and up. I dont mind paying a little more with the peace of mind of having it done right.

Hey Guys, spoke to AutoWerks today and have decided to go with them. As mentioned from other members they have a lot of experience and don't want to chance it to save a couple hundred bucks.

Thanks again for the feedback. Will post once work is done. Thinking sometime in April.

Hi All, just wanted to give an update. Got the IMS Retrofit (Duel Row) and RMS replaced at Autowerks this past week. I just want to say that Domenic is a class act and really enjoyed my first experience with this shop. I thought the RMS was leaking but once they had the tranny apart it was the IMS not RMS. The clutch was still in great condition so i didn't replace it. The bearing had very little play but was filled with oil not grease. Price was very reasonable with 8 hrs labour and parts for total of $1700+tax.

In a world where negative feedback travels faster and farther than positive feedback, it's always nice to see EU Autowerks get nothing but the greatest. Glad to hear of your wonderful experience there!
