Question Flat Topped Axle Stands

Anyone know where one can get axle stands with a flat top? The CT ones all have a "U" shapped top to fit an axle rather than a Porsche jacking point. Thanks in advance...

I use hockey pucks on top of the CT stands. Works perfectly.

How about a close-up pic.

I've tried hockey pucks too and they eventually split in half.

I use a hockey puck on my jack and it works fine but the top of the axle stands looks a bit too small to be stable and I'd hate to have then split while the car is up. Any other ideas? ...a pile of 2x6's?

Not mentioned already, but a nice piece of 1/8th flat bar welded to the top of the jackstand would work. A thin piece of rubber could be attached if desired.

I don't think it's a good idea to weld anything to a jack stand.
