Facom are the Porsche factory tool providers i believe and are still made in europe. good luck finding a place that sells them or has after service support.
There's no need to fear chinese products as long as the company behind them stands behind the reputation and you have confidence in their quality controle.
FWIW I have a mastercraft torque wrench and checked it against a master tech's old school snap-on and it was accurate.

MasterCraft Maximum is more than good enough for the average DYI'er. The DYI'er only uses the tools a few times over years, as long as you release the tension while stored in a tool box, this will last for years of trouble free service. I have seen people with very good quality tools over torque nuts - knowledge on proper use is vital - ... So using a German made torque wrench that the Porsche Factory use means nothing if not used correctly.
If your going to use your torque wrench daily ... get a Snap-On or similar quality - will last longer from continuous use, if NOT get the Maximum on sale for once a week track days.
just my 0.02 cdn

PS - I do use many snap-on tools as I did an apprenticeship right out of high school - most of my stuff is 30 yrs old and still works like new. I did need to get a new impact gun

CTC sells two basic lines of tools. Their "Mastercraft" series is regular-grade and their "Maximum" series is professional-grade. Either way, both come from China and both come with a lifetime warranty against breakage.

I bought two of these last year and both broke. Canadiian Tire would only replace it once...

How could CT only replace it once.. if you don't need the invoice to exchange? :P
Or maybe: what the hell do you do with your torque wrench to break two in the same year ? :P
Okay so bunch of peoples here argue that CT torque wrench are not acurate enought for them.. but I guess bunch of peoples here don't tight there wheels at the same torque.. so what's the point? :P
some says 90.. some say 94..
I also have the CT one and it always served great!

I rebuilt a motorcycle engine using the 1/2" drive Mastercraft Maximum series torque wrench from CT, never had any problems. Would I trust it if I was rebuilding the block of a GT3 Cup car? Probably not, but for any DIY'er it's more than sufficient IMO.

Thanks very much for the feedback guys. It sounds as though this will work fine for removal and replacement of wheels. Does anyone know the socket and extension required for the factory wheels on my car?
