I talked to Phil..they had some problems with estimating space, as they had to work with the fire department to get the thing approved, so they basically underestimated the number of cars they could handle within the regulation. They intend to expend it next year; I don't think there was anything political in it at all.

IMO there was nothing political about it. if you registered a car that wasn't already registered then you got in if there already was the same car fist come first served. this was not a pca event btw. it is crazy how often it happens that someone doesn't get what they want and they want to blame it on a conspiracy.

I'm pretty sure Phil spent literally hours trying to calculate all the available space. He had huge CAD drawings and I think he even did drawings on a big parking lot. I'm pretty sure he's not an architect so let's give him and the organizers a break.

Agree with the above comments from Ekam. In general, the feedback was very positive. It was a chance for people to see some interesting cars for free, and there seemed to be a lot of good humour about the whole thing. As you said, I am sure they will improve it next year.
