I just came off the Nordschleife. Heavy rain and very slippery. Heartstopping in fact. I had a CGT start before me, grouped with a Bentley GT and a McLaren SLR. The CGT crashed at Metzgefeld so we had yellows . The grip from the cup was OK but I really was not pushing and the track was almost abandoned. No photos allowed and I had no passenger to take any unfortunately. Not worth continuing tonight but will got for a longer session tomorrow. Its a very scary place in the rain.

I am on cups. It was an interesting experience but it was just treacherous over most of the 20.8Km of the track. Here is the CGT coming back on the flatbed. Fine on this side but rear wheel and axle twisted badly on the other side as he went in on his rear quarter. Very,very expensive..........

So Ronan, What did your wife do with all her time in Germany? Im sure that she was not up and at the track as early as you, or was she?
I hope you let her do some shopping,(seeing as you did some serious shopping)?

The final day was brilliant....warm and sunny, half a dozen GT3s, a bunch of other stuff.......and the track. The car is so much more forgiving than the Gen 1 car. Its unbeleivable.......

Had very quick run (300+) down to Frankfurt, stopped in Konigsburg for lunch and then dropped the car off at the warehouse. Simple process. I kept the temporary tags as souvenirs.
