Another option which I used when transporting my 993TT from Vancouver to Toronto was to use an empty truck for a high end dealer. In my case, it was a Lamborghini hauler that they use to bring cars from the port to the west coast. On the way back, the truck has space so they sometimes are willing to bring cars back. If you have a relationship with a local dealer, they might be able to arrange something for you.
