Took mine to work two weeks ago; it was great to get out in it again. The noisy lifter quieted right down, after a few minutes.
I left the insurance on all winter, thinking the Chinooks would clear the snow off, but it didn't happen this year.

I say drive them. My next door neighbour has a 993 C4S that he doesn't take out until it rains three time without any snow. He also doesn't start it unless it's above zero degrees for the entire day.
I drive by his house at 4000+ RPM every day with my gundo hacked mufflers to remind him how much fun i'm having. :P
Salt dust? Seriously... lol
I can see the debris left over causing a potential for stone chips and such, but Salt Dust? Are the costal guys going to start measuring % of salt in the air now too? Ha ha.

Insurance is back on!!! I'm gone for the weekend again, but timing with rain is perfect. Monday is going to be a good day, but I'll probably need to have jumper cables nearby...

Yup, barring a freak snowstorm, Monday's the day for me as well. Insurance on, plate validation sticker updated (almost forgot this one!) and I'm good to go. This rain should wash the remaining crud away...
