Pfaff Porsche service today
Check engine light came on the other night, dropped by Pfaff today to have it checked out. They diagnosed the code, topped up my engine oil and washed the car. Total cost Zero.

One liter of oil, no puddles, next oil change in April, they charge I believe it's around $300 bucks. Do you have obd2.
Drove it yesterday as well, tomorrow, Saturday, Sunday.
See you Friday. Are you bringing the Turbo TurboDan?
Global Warming.

Perks of paying 10k more then market value? I am sure glad they didn't charge you to reset a check engine light. Big score.
Also a bad coil pack can cause mis-fires. mis-fires can cause catalytic converters to go bad.

I believe he called it a coil pack, told me not to worry until it happened again.

JUST AN IDEA: Does your coil pack have a rubber extension piece that goes over the spark plug, if it does, check for a tear or crack in the boot(s), if it is anything like the one on my BMW that will cause a short and eventually kill the coil pack. On my BMW I replaced that extension piece for $20 instead of ~$300 dealer cost. You can temporarily use RTV to seal the cracks/tear but that should only be short term until you can source the part.

The bitterness from poor service/quality far outlasts the sweetness of a great price....
