Default My First P-Car / Post

I recently (Dec. 22nd) purchased an 01' black Boxster - private sale with PPI done at EU. Car is currently sleeping in my garage waiting for Spring. Thanks to Arnaud for all of pre-purchase advice/guidance. I have lots to learn about P-cars and still can't believe I have one in my garage despite how often I pay a visit. Cheers.

Hi Paul,

I got your message. Talk about a small world!

I'm sorry to see that you ended up selling your BMW motorcycles. In a way, not the end of the world. I've often said that if I could only have one motorcycle, it would be one that I kept in Europe to ride the Alps every summer. The roads are too darn flat and straight here to provide any excitement.

BTW, despite being rear ended by a cell phone yapping bonehead in a cage, I'm heading back to the Alps for 6 weeks this year and shipping over another motorcycle as a replacement for the one that was written off.

I am sure you'll enjoy your new Boxster as much as I'm enjoying my 993. A bit of a pain to do any routine maintenance to them compared to other vehicles, but the driving experience is very worth it.

Glad I could help. Now let's hope that spring shows up early so that you can drive your Boxster

Nice Fitzy, your first post and all, as stated above, lets see some pics (even though it is tucked away in the garage).
