We used to rent RV's and park on the island up near the old rowing shed's until the organiziers kicked us off the island - something about corner worker riff raft and all that 'near' the Ferrari Challenge guys making them 'uncomfortable'! Poor dears... It's not like we would have damaged their cars and anything - they were pretty good at that all by themselves.

So now we're looking for motels/hotels across the river. It's only a 6 minute white knuckle rat race across the bridge anyway but it saves us a heck of a lot of money that we can then donate to the bars at night. I don't think even with a corp rate you will get anything south of $300 a night based upon a three-four night minimum. Supply and demand and all that capitistic pig type stuff.

There's a relatively new hotel at Quartier dix30 in Brossard, just South of Champlain bridge. Not sure what the rates look like, but worth a shot if you want something on the South shore. Not very many options to choose from there. Good bars right around the hotel too..

So it sounds like there's a Porsche contingent going?

Should we organize things at all? Meals - tickets? Caravan?
