255 on a 8" rim will balloon on the sides.
Good luck finding a 17x8 wheel. We all want the 8" front and 9" rear on our cars.

I have a set of 17” Boxster Twists, 7 x 17 (ET 55) front, with 225/50 ZR 17 tires & 8.5 x 17 (ET 48/50) rear, with 255/40 ZR 17 tires. The wheels are in excellent shape with no curb rash or scrapes. The tires are Bridgestone Potenza S-O2s and are in good shape with approximately 9/32” (~80-85%) tread depth. Wheels come w/o center caps. (The tires were installed in 03, but have always been stored indoors, and haven’t been used in two years, so you can make the call on there condition.)
Wheels and tires are located in Toronto. I’m looking for $600 for the set.
PM me if you are interested.

I’ll look to see if I can find some better photos tonight if you are interested.

Yep they're the real deal. OEM (BBS for Porsche), made in Germany,

They are off my Boxster. I realize I priced them a bit low, but to a fellow lister, and to free up some garage space, I'll chalk it up to a good cause.

On that note does anyone have any recommendations on economical and reliable shipping for these wheels from Toronto to Montreal.

Thanks,
Aron

I also have a set of 17" Turbo Twists, they are in good condition but the left rear tire has some wall damage and needs a plug, tires are otherwise in good condition. I'm looking for $700.00 OBO, I also have spaces to allow them to fit an early offset 944/951. The wheels are shown on the car in my avatar. 7" 205 55/17 front, 9" 255 40/17 rear.
