Autowerks...
I know many of you highly recommend Courtney at Autowerks for service and I plan on taking my 993 there just as soon as it arrives at my place. Have any of you had them install tires on your wheels? Would you trust them with this job (newly refinished wheels) or should I just go to a high end wheel shop?
For some reason, I thought this shop was downtown and I was just going to go to Mantis, but seeing it's in Woodbridge, it will be a good excuse to go for a nice drive along the 407 in my new ride

I like Allen at Simply Tire...but he like all the good tire shops are swamped this time of year. Allen has a 993tt and has silicon tools for removing tires without scratching the rims. I had him clean 2 rims on the 951 that had a slight rim leak just today. his prices are very good as well.

Tire Craft/Megawheelz are on the Queensway in Mississauga and they have mounted dismounted a couple of sets of tires for me as well as a rim straightening. They sub that out but it was reasonable. They charged $40 to dismount the tires of my newly acquired twists.

It would be except I payed the 40 bucks to have the tires removed. We haven't got to the mounting part yet. They are good guys and do good work and know their way around alloy rims. These guys do clinics for the BMW club and also hosted a PCA tire session. Very handy for me as they're 2 mins from my shop. They were balancing winter tires on turbo twists for somebody today.
