No sir, I actually found it trolling one of these porsche sites and I cant seem to find it any longer. It had a listing of all P-cars for sale off Ebay, Craigslist, and some other site. Its a boxster forum or maybe even a porsche forum for the life of me I cant remember but I saw the price and bought myself a birthday gift last month lol

And I thought my Boxster was a good deal... Yours is a smoking deal! Congrats. Time to come out to our Saturday Get Together to introduce yourself and your new toy.

So 1.5 years later not much has been done but the project has changed from a 3.4 to a 2005 3.6 factory remann, there's no replacent for displacement. Plus hp mods for the porsche aren't cheap and I'm poor; so I'll see you guys next summer since it'll take me forever to collect the electrical I'll need to get this monster running. I have to go from 5.2.2 motronic to 7.8 to control the vario cam plus but I'll be gaining a nice 135hp

Wow. Best of luck. Make sure to photograph the progress. Would love to see how this beast comes to life.

Oh, man, you better get another job. These projects never meet budget expectations. I would love to get a ride on the track in it when you are done, though.
Keep us updated with pics!

What a nice project!
Since you are gonna be there, I would install the LN upgrade bearing kit; the extra labor should be
considerably small.

Thanks for the interest and shared excitement. Still hunting a few more parts before she gets ready:

2003+ boxster s engine and dash harness
2003+ boxster s abs controller
2003+ 996 speedometer/instrument cluster
2003+ boxster/996 7.8 DME
2003+ HVAC control unit
2000+ 986/996 Egas pedal assembly
2005+ cayman exhaust headers

986 Tequipment ROW M030 suspension

Unfortunately I cannot get the IMS upgrade due to the Reman engine I have contains the latest IMS variant which requires the case to be split in order to upgrade

Are you friends with Steve Bogdon by any chance? He called me asking if I have done an engine swap in a Boxster before.

Looks like you have it mostly sorted out!
